That team started over 30 years ago and there are still some of the original crew at Nectar today! Fiona and Mark Jukes, directors, started with a telephone, phone book, and a clear vision. They knew they had to provide the very best service they could to the drinks trade, from the range of products on offer to the delivery service they provided. There had to be different products, new and exciting, and the service levels had to be groundbreaking.
That ethos is still at the heart of Nectar today, and each team member plays their part in delivering that vision.

Business Development Manager - On Trade Drinks

Nectar Imports, a long established independent premium drinks wholesaler, is seeking an on-trade Business Development Manager for the geography covering Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton to manage an existing portfolio of accounts, as well as develop new business to grow the territory.
Nectar is a progressive, ambitious company with a strong reputation for operating within the specialist end of the independent on-trade in the South of England.
We are seeking a driven, commercially astute and personable individual to continue the region's success through proactive account management as well as seeking out and closing new business.
Working in a vibrant and driven on-trade sales team, this person will be working with a diverse portfolio of over 2500 drink products supplying premium restaurants, country pubs, hotels and style bars to maximise sales for profitable growth and distribution across a designated territory.
We are seeking someone who has the determination, commercial ability and personality to negotiate with customers at all levels. Key responsibilities will include building relationships and a network of contacts, driving volume, distribution and profit in line with targets, executing brand activities and providing category solutions to your customers.
The successful applicant will be ideally based within the territory, therefore giving them easy access to this area. They must have a successful track record in the on-trade wholesale market or previous sales experience within an FMCG or equivalent company, with a successful sales track record of over achieving sales targets with a can-do attitude.
