That team started over 30 years ago and there are still some of the original crew at Nectar today! Fiona and Mark Jukes, directors, started with a telephone, phone book, and a clear vision. They knew they had to provide the very best service they could to the drinks trade, from the range of products on offer to the delivery service they provided. There had to be different products, new and exciting, and the service levels had to be groundbreaking.

That ethos is still at the heart of Nectar today, and each team member plays their part in delivering that vision.

Customer Services Executive

Nectar Imports is a refreshingly different drinks supplier, offering our customers a unique range of products with more than 3,000 lines on offer from soft drinks to spirits and everything in-between.

We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our customers, from placing their order, to delivering the stock to the cellar.

We are based just outside the rural village of Hindon, and are currently looking to recruit a Customer Services Executive to join the team. The role will include a variety of tasks and calls where no two days are the same. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Taking inbound calls from customers who are wishing to place their regular order.
  • Maximising sales through up selling.
  • Handling delivery query calls and resolving them quickly and efficiently.
  • Taking calls from our Business Development Managers to assist them with customer queries.
  • Working closely with our warehouse and transport to ensure we offer a smooth delivery of the required stock.
  • Updating customers on any delivery issues we are experiencing and managing their expectations.
  • Supporting with sales requests that we obtain via email, web and answer machine.
  • Working with our accounts team to ensure credits are applied as and when appropriate.
  • General housekeeping on accounts to ensure that our records are up to date.
  • Process daily stock shortages - de allocate orders and coordinate with our customers.


What we are looking for

  • Proven customer service experience is essential, preferably in a busy office or contact centre environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills; in house system training will be provided.
  • Ability to keep a cool head in a busy buzzing environment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment for the benefit of you and your colleagues i.e. desk, office and communal areas.
