Grape info: Found almost exclusively on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, Carricante, in the right hands, is one of Italy’s finest grapes. Capable of yielding wines of great longevity that exhibit a signature flinty, mineral character, racy acidity and citrussy aromatics.

Info: Breathing new life into ancient and unique vineyards across Italy, Minini seek to marry new technologies with tradition. A late harvest and second fermentation tame Carricante’s natural acidity allowing it to express a floral, herbaceous character alongside its innate minerality.

Tasting note: Straw yellow with green hues; an enticing nose of green apple, white peach, jasmine and aromatic herbs. The palate is fresh, mineral and citrussy with notes of orange flower, aniseed and chamomile.
