That team started over 30 years ago and there are still some of the original crew at Nectar today! Fiona and Mark Jukes, directors, started with a telephone, phone book, and a clear vision. They knew they had to provide the very best service they could to the drinks trade, from the range of products on offer to the delivery service they provided. There had to be different products, new and exciting, and the service levels had to be groundbreaking.

That ethos is still at the heart of Nectar today, and each team member plays their part in delivering that vision.

Customer Services Executive

The Role

This position is maternity cover and therefore will be on a fixed contract for 12 months commencing from 01/10/2018. There is a possibility that this role could be made permanent at the end of the fixed term period. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 14:30 with a 15-minute unpaid break.

 

As a Customer Services Executive, you will be tasked with providing frontline telephone and email support to our customers. You will quickly understand their bespoke requirements and be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a high standard of service and response.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking and processing customer orders and resolving any queries
  • Working in close contact with other Nectar teams to ensure customer orders are delivered in time and in full
  • Contributing actively to achieving department service levels and targets
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Nectar's products and be able to share this knowledge with the customer
  • Identify opportunities to develop sales to existing customers by selling in additional products and categories in conjunction with Company objectives and strategy.

About You

Successful candidates will have proven customer service skills and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to build outstanding relationships with customers. You will have a good standard of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy. You will understand and demonstrate the skills required to work effectively in a team. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience of working in the drinks industry is highly desirable.
