A refreshingly different drinks supplier

Sam, our Wine Buff's pick of the month is a sweet, rich wine from Stanton & Killeen.

A superb value wine for its rich and sweet muscaty and raisin flavours, with the lightness and freshness of the foundation Rutherglen style. In Rutherglen, Australia, they fortify (add spirit), before all the sugar has been fermented. This technique with extensive oak ageing produces a luscious wine noted for its deep colour and complex flavours. The muscat grapes are also left to mature on the vine longer than other varieties, providing the raisined character.

This wine is also versatile, possessing Christmas cake flavours reminiscent of the festive season in winter, and refreshing qualities in the summer when served over ice.
