A refreshingly different drinks supplier

As the season of scoffing, boozing and getting merry is upon us, we've selected a handful of Christmas drinks to help you get into the spirit.

A traditional favourite, Mulled Cider offers warmth, reminding us all of winters past, being with family, all crowded in front of the fire.


Harry's Mulled Cider
is made at the family farm in Long Sutton near Langport. Sweetened with a cane sugar, the base cider is gently mulled for more than two hours with a selection of spices including ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. The apples come from their own orchards and once they have their base cider blend, the spices are added and mulled to enable a gentle infusion. It's an authentic way of making mulled cider, and Harry's believe its outstanding aroma and taste is very much a result of this extra time and attention. 

With an alcohol level of just 4% ABV, and with the festive season just around the corner, a warming and delicious glass of mulled cider can provide the perfect antidote to these noticeably colder evenings! Perfect for your customers on a cold winter's night to warm the soul.

 


Held on the frozen River Thames and scene to probably its only elephant crossing, 1814 gave us London's first ever Frost Fair. Scholars say the gathering would be seen as a cross between a street market and an illegal rave.

Hawkes' aptly named Elephants on Ice Mulled Cider pays homage to a long gone but awesome winter party.

Deep amber colour in appearance, with warm winter spices that deliver a kick of cinnamon and cloves, it's pleasantly sweet with a smooth finish.

Perfect enjoyed both hot as a mulled cider or served cold.  


Norcott's Ciders is an award winning, family run, independent company based in Devon, established in March 2012 by Chris Norcott and his wife Nicola. 

Fruit ciders were becoming increasingly popular, but these were often sweet so Chris found a gap in the market to produce a range of lighter, more refreshing ciders, which were produced locally using using quality, local ingredients, meaning that they only use apples from the South West.

Norcott's Mulled Cider follows the rest of the range; fresh, crisp whilst being deliciously well balanced, the cinnamon and seasonal spices add a gentle warmth.

For the Designated Driver

Just because your customers aren't drinking doesn't mean they can't join in on the festivities - Belvoir's Mulled Winter Cordial is an intense, fruity blend of cranberry and orange juices complemented with warming spices and a touch of lime.

Designed to be mixed with gently warmed water, it's equally delicious blended cold, and for a truly festive touch, it can also be turned into something a little stronger as a warming hot toddy with a dash of rum - we recommend Lugger's - or vodka.

Belvoir's drinks are all made with fresh ingredients and natural fruit juices expertly hand-blended on the family farm, and contain no artificial sweeteners, colourings, preservatives or flavourings.


What says festive more than a porter or a red ale?

Big Hug Brewery came together with a passion to create the beers that they want to drink, but to also be part of the craft beer movement. They help to drive craft beer forward, make a difference along the way, and take great, flavoursome beer to the masses. Established in 2014 by three friends - Matt, Dan and Chris, they create beers that are full of flavour, unusual and innovative.

Their Red Rye Ale is their most complex beer that marries together different flavours and hues from six different malts, including rye and crystal rye. Vibrant red in colour, it has tastes of earthy pine and pairs well with rich flavours.

Our next beer offering is from the Einstok Brewery, which is located just 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle in the fishing port of Akuyeri, Iceland. There, water flows from rain and prehistoric glaciers down the Hildarfjall Mountain and through a lava field, delivering arguably the purest water on earth, and the perfect foundation for brewing deliciously refreshing craft ales.

The team behind the brewery take the time to find the right ingredients and brew several different versions of every beer that they produce until they get to the best.

They are relentlessly focused on quality over quantity, and the results are beers that have won awards all over the world, and fans in more than 22 countries.

Their Toasted Porter has clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee. This Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There's no need to be afraid of the dark any more.

Warner's started in 2012 on their beautiful family farm, with no idea what they were really getting themselves into. But they began with things that matter most, and a dream to save the world from mediocre gin.

They draw water from their spring, grow all of the botanicals, and try to keep things local. As custodians of the land, they harvest with a respect for nature and the community. As they go, they try to give back more than they take; re-sow, replant, and rebuild.
