Halloween is just a few weeks away, and with the festival gaining massive popularity in recent years, turning into one of the UK's biggest cultural and commercial events, why not prepare and get into the mood with these spooky spirits and ciders?
Dead Man's Fingers from Cornwall rebel against the norm. Feeling suitably liberated from the tyranny of convention, a spiced rum was born. Delicious sipped neat, it plays well with others, with the orange back-note making it a better mixer for a diverse range of cocktails. Better yet, there are three more scintillating flavours to choose from; Coconut, Coffee and their new Hemp addition, with the flavours guaranteeing to hit greater heights.
Scotland's Dark Matter Distillery combine knowledge and imagination and experimentation in their process. Their Chocolate Orange Liqueur is a modern take on a classic that everyone loves, creating an unctuous marriage of aromas and flavours. Bitter Seville oranges inject a refreshing punch of citrus while rich, dark chocolate balances. Simply delicious.
Jagermeister are innovative, disruptive and irreverent in their ways. They challenge conventions and dare to take risks. Jagermeister combines 56 herbs, roots and fruits to create a smooth, rich flavour with a distinctive bittersweet finish. Don't forget to try their new Cold Brew; a unique fusion of Jagermeister's 56 botanicals and intense cold brew coffee.
Harry's Mulled Cider is made at the family farm in Long Sutton near Langport. Sweetened with a cane sugar, the base cider is gently mulled for more than two hours with a selection of spices including ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. The apples come from their own orchards and once they have our base cider blend, the spices are added and mulled to enable a gentle infusion. It's an authentic way of making mulled cider. With Halloween just around the corner, treat your customers to a glass of delicious mulled cider, a perfect antidote to those noticeably colder evenings!
