Grape info: 85% of the fruit for the Special Cuvée is sourced from grand and premier cru vineyards. A blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier.

About: Since 1829, Champagne Bollinger has been making wines to a powerful, refined and complex style. This unique taste is the result of their particular affinity for the elegance of Pinot Noir.

Cellar matured for more than twice the period required by the appellation. Dosage is moderate at between seven to eight grams per litre.

Tasting note: A beautiful aromatic complexity with aromas of ripe fruit and spices: notes of roasted apple, compote and peach. On the palate, there is a subtle combination of structure, length and liveliness. Extremely fine bubbles with notes of pear and brioche mingling with spices and fresh nuts.

Character: Rich, lively, complex.
