Bourgogne Chardonnay Secret de Famille

Bourgogne Chardonnay Secret de Famille

Sweetness: Dry

Grape: Chardonnay

Grape info: Harvested from a number of famous sites across Burgundy including Saint Aubin, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, the Secrete de Famille represents excellent value for money.

About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.

Half of the wine undergoes aging in oak barrels, 20% of which are new, the remaining half is aged in stainless steel tanks for a total of between eight and twelve months.

Tasting note: The nose is dominated by hints of citrus and white flowers, evolving notes of honey and dried fruits. The palate is finely balanced, skilfully blending vivacity and roundness.

Character: Rich, floral, honeyed
