About: Founded in 1962 the Durand estate eventually expanded to include 43 hectares of vines: 33 in and around Sancerre with a further ten in Menetou-Salon. Working in the principle of minimum intervention with the utmost respect for the environment, wines are made with great care in-situ and have established the domaine’s excellent reputation.
Tasting note: Crisp and aromatic with lovely citrus fruit flavours, lots of energy, pink grapefruit, gooseberry, pear and nettle flavours. Serious value from the Loire.
