Grape info: A noble grape variety, Cabernet Franc has a rich history dating back centuries. Originating in the Bordeaux region of France, it is believed to be one of the parent grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon. Renowned for its aromatic qualities and elegant structure, Cabernet Franc has succeeded in various wine regions worldwide, where it shines as a single-varietal wine.
About: In 1925, Rutini became the first winery to plant vines in the Uco Valley, which today is world-renowned as one of the top wine-producing regions in Mendoza and all of Argentina. Rutini has 400 hectares of vineyards at altitudes ranging between 1,050 and 1,200 meters above sea level. The viticulture team strives to grow grapes of the highest quality. To that end, they limit the vines production employ an excellent irrigation system, and allow the fruit to reach the optimal level of ripeness before harvesting.
