Grape info: The "Les Charmes" vineyard lies on a renowned, hundred-hectare limestone plateau in the heart of Burgundy’s Macconais. Harvested from forty-year-old vines on southeast facing slopes, the grapes develop exceptional aromatics, ripeness and intensity.
About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.
20% of the wine is aged in oak barrels with the remainder in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks for a total period of eight months.
