In celebration of 200 years of Viña La Rosa and over 25
years of working with Nectar, we heard from the team as to what makes this
relationship and the winery special. On the bicentennial celebration and with a winegrowing legacy of more than six generations lead by the Ossa family, that have given life to lands in the Cachapoal Valley, today Viña La Rosa share their Terroir Projects with you, honest manifestations of the essence and diversity of Peumo.
La Rosa wine represents the constant quest throughout their history, the discovery and rediscovery of their essence, wines that represent the richness and expression of the territory. Cornellana Volcano Sedimentario, the latest project, is sourced from a volcanic terroir, showing a combination of personality and finesse, supported by the latent energy of the rock. Wines that represent the diversity of Peumo.
Matured for 15 months in amphoras and used barrels for an enhanced expression of terroir, Cornellana Volcano Carmenere has a nose of cherries, plum, violets, and underbrush precede a vibrant and structured palate with taut, firm tannins, and a hint of earthiness.

Whilst Don Reca Gran Reserva has incredible depth, driven by the astonishing blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Carmenere, Malbec and Petit Verdot. A staple of our wine list for years, phenomenal. An exclusive own-label from Vina Reguingua, grapes are sourced from vineyards located in the Curico, Maule and Colchagua Valleys, where a mild Mediterranean-like climate and varied soils offer optimum conditions for growing.
