A refreshingly different drinks supplier

Representing around 10% of still wine sales in the UK, there has never been more choice out there for rosé lovers.

With the Summer in full swing, what better time to look at 5 of the best.

Domaine de la Vielle Tour Rosé, Cotes de Provence, France

Provence is the spiritual home of Rosé and as sales in the UK continue to soar it's not difficult to see why. Pale, refreshing and perfect with a summer salad, seafood or enjoyed simply on its own.

Percheron Grenache Rosé, Western Cape, South Africa

With its attractive red fruit character and delicate floral aromas, grape variety Grenache is ideal for making rosé and this example from South Africa offers a great alternative to those from Provence.

Mirabello Pinot Grigio Rosé, Pavia, Italy

We couldn't talk about Rosé without mentioning good old Pinot Grigio Rosé could we? Still as popular as ever, this one is enhanced with 15% Pinot Noir grapes from the same vineyard to give it an extra hit of juicy red fruit. It's simply Bellissimo!

Ancora Rosato Monferrato Chiaretto, Piemonte, Italy

Another absolute cracker from Italy. Like being hit in the face by a giant red cherry. Made from the grape variety Barbera which is famed for it's refreshing acidity and lovely aromatic quality. If you want to try something slightly different than PG Rosé than give this a whirl.

Borsao Rosado, Campo de Borja, Spain

So we know that Grenache makes great Rosé right? Well in Spain, grape variety Grenache is called Garnacha and this strawberry scented delight from North East Spain is a joyous marriage of juicy fruit and vibrant refreshment. Great with tapas.

If a touch of sparkling rosé wine is what you're looking for this summer, try Lunetta or Mirabello's expressions for that light, celebratory feeling and taste.
