Grape info: A native of southern France, Picpoul has been cultivated there for centuries but only recently have its luminous citrus fruits and nervy acidity been in such demand. Lemon-scented and occasionally on the floral side, it makes a famously good accompaniment to seafood.

About: Domaine Delsol is ideally situated along the Thau Lagoon in Montagnac. The lagoon and Mediterranean Sea breezes ensure cool nights and humid days; the perfect conditions for growing Piquepoul.

Tasting Note: Notes of lime and hawthorn on the nose. Lively and fresh with green apple, lemon and a hint of thyme on the palate balanced by a keen acidity and clean finish.
