Grape info: Grenache provides a ripe fruitiness and deep colour along with a herby, spicey character. Syrah lends its signature soft tannins, weighty mid-palate and notes of leather, liquorice, and black pepper.

About: Founded in 1976 with an inventive, quality-oriented approach to his partnerships, Louis Bernard brought together wine properties with a common ambition: to maximise each vineyard's potential and produce the best wines possible. Working together with Domaine Sarrelon, the Côte du Rhône is made exclusively with organic grapes, natural, wild yeasts, and without the addition of enzymes, animal by-products, herbicides or pesticides. The wine is matured in vats for 6-8 months before bottling.

Tasting note: Deep purple hints. Expressive aromas of ripe blue-and blackberries and peppery notes. Full-flavoured ripe, supple and mellow start with a long and impressive finish.
