Grape info: Pinot Bianco (Pinot Blanc) is a white mutation of Pinot Noir, valued for its subtle aromatics, freshness and versatility. It typically produces dry wines with flavours of green apple, pear and citrus, supported by moderate acidity and a rounded texture.
Info: Founded in 1823, Alois Lageder is a sixth-generation family winery based in Magrè, Alto Adige. The estate works with its own vineyards alongside around 60 long-term grower partners, all farmed organically or biodynamically. Pinot Bianco is harvested from the southern part of the Alto Adige at between 300-500 meters where it thrives on sandy / gravel soils.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with four months aging on the lees.
