Hilanda Sauvignon Blanc
Hilanda Sauvignon Blanc
Sweetness: Dry
Grape(s): Sauvignon Blanc
Grape info: Though indigenous to France, Sauvignon’s unique aromatic profile has seen it successfully transplanted all over the world to become the third most cultivated variety, behind only Chardonnay and Airén. Its enduring popularity is down to its distinctive, multi-layered combination of youthful, ‘green’ flavours matched with a keen acidity, capable of producing wines of real substance.
Info: Sourced from high-altitude, low-yielding Sauvignon Blanc vineyards on sandy, stony and calcareous soils, the grapes are hand-harvested and vinified without oak to preserve freshness and varietal purity.
Tasting note: Fresh and aromatic, with lifted notes of citrus, green apple, tropical fruit and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is crisp and lively, combining ripe fruit with bright acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
Character: Citrus, green apple, tropical fruit
