Grape info: A native of Spain (Garnacha Tinta), Grenache has a long history in the south of France, most notably in the wines of the southern Rhône valley, typically producing wines of a deep colour with medicinal levels of alcohol and an attractive herby, spicey character.

Tasting note: Aromas of chocolate-coated cherries and cassis with some vanilla spice lead you into a warming palate with a good tang of racy acidity. Fruit is all black cherry and bright strawberry. Tannins are smooth with a lovely touch of cherry stone and almond on the finish.
