Grape info: In 2020 the Italian government finally gave the green light for the much-anticipated Prosecco Rosé designation, permitting the addition of up to 15% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) to the white Glera for the production of rosés. Glera produces characteristically light, citrussy wines with a delicate floral dimension, here enriched with Pinot Nero for a more evolved fruit and floral character. 

Info: Grapes are sourced from the hills above Treviso. A soft press precedes fermentation in stainless steel 15-20 days after which wines are blended with a proportion of Pinot Nero, lending it an attractive pink hue. After blending, the wine undergoes a second, temperature-controlled, fermentation in stainless steel tanks on the lees.

Tasting note: The colour is an appealing pink with cherry-coloured hints. Fresh berry aromas and a fine mousse lead to redcurrant and citrus notes on the palate, balanced by bright acidity and a clean, dry finish.
