Glass bottles might look great, be cost efficient and seem easy enough to recycle, but glass manufacturing is a full-on carbon intensive process. For every kilogram of glass produced ~1kg of CO2e is emitted. The weight of glass bottles also increases the associated emissions of transportation.
To combat this in their own no-frills way, East London Liquor have rolled out their Project Refill™ programme. These 10L High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) containers massively cut the relative weight per unit, take up less space than their x14 bottle equivalent and come at a more cost-efficient price point.
Perfect for speed-rail friendly spirits, just refill existing empty bottles with the booze from your Project Refill™ jerry. Once it’s empty, every component can be curbside recycled. Simple.
It’s called a classic for a reason! East London Liquor Company's London Dry Gin combines notes of citrus and juniper, ending in a bold, spicy finish. Perfect in the kitchen, on the couch, or for those virtual after-work drinks! Its "secret" ingredients are juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, cardamom, cubeb berries, lemon and pink grapefruit peel.
