Grape info: Sicily’s most important red variety and the seventh most popular in Italy, Nero d’Avola has demonstrated its ability to produce some fine wines, sensitive of their terroir. Thanks to its attractive flavour profile of ripe cherries and herbs, it has also proven an excellent grape for the production of rose.  

Info: Breathing new life into ancient and unique vineyards across Italy, Minini seek to marry new technologies with tradition. A late harvest and second fermentation tame Carricante’s natural acidity allowing it to express a floral, herbaceous character alongside its innate minerality.

Tasting note: Bright and refreshing, with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and delicate floral notes. Crisp and dry on the palate, with lively acidity and a subtle Mediterranean character leading to a clean, fruit-driven finish.
