Grape info: Spain’s most planted white variety and producer of some of its most venerable whites, Macabeo (aka Viura in Rioja) is widely grown throughout much of the country, producing lightly aromatic, floral wines that respond well to oak aging.

Tasting note: An attractive, polished green straw appearance with pronounced, fresh aromas of citrus, passionfruit and green apple. On the palate there is a textured mouthfeel of ripe mango, passionfruit, crisp apple and zingy citrus with a light herbaceous and elderflower note on a prolonged finish.

When Zeno wasn’t busy philosophising, his main enjoyment was to sit in the sun eating figs and drinking wine. It’s all about balance. ZENO's mission is to craft the best alcohol-liberated wine alternatives possible, with regional and varietal expression, for the more discerning wine drinker on occasions where they choose not to drink alcohol.

At harvest, parcels of only the best fruit are selected, with specific qualities tailored for getting the perfect result through the dealcoholisation process.

Carefully vinified in a world class winery, the wines are then meticulously blended, before the alcohol is gently removed using the world’s most advanced technology.
