Grape info: Located at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is one of Burgundy's flagship villages, renowned both for its reliable quality and its characteristically rich, full-bodied whites. Grapes are harvested from vines with an average age of thirty years, ensuring flavour concentrations are high.

About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.

Aged entirely in oak for between twelve to fifteen months, 20% of the wine goes into new oak barrels, amplifying its natural richness.

Tasting note: The nose boasts a discrete touch of toast followed by elegant floral notes underpinned by fruity, plum and pear aromas. The palate is powerful, well balanced and dense, with delicious flavours of brioche. The finish is long and aromatic.
