Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut

Sweetness: Dry

Grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier

Grape info: Grapes for the Yellow Label are sourced from as many as sixty different crus. The Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is typical of Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds elegance and finesse with a touch of Pinot Meunier (15-20%) to round out the blend.

About: 95% of Veuve Clicquot vines are classified as grand or premier crus. Its 390 hectares are divided between twelve of the seventeen grands crus and between twenty of the forty four premiers crus that constitute the Champagne region.

Yellow Label demonstrates Veuve Clicquot’s signature style, recreated every year using their priceless collection of reserve wines. Wines are released after a minimum of three years aging, lending them a great finesse and balance.

Tasting note: Lemony richness on the nose, a struck match character that falls in with a lemon, vanilla note. Toffee apple allure on the palate with chalky coolness and a savoury nutty finish.

Character: Balanced, elegant, complex.
