Grape info: Chardonnay’s particular sensitivity to terroir and production techniques make it arguably the most versatile white variety in the world, capable of myriad styles ranging from lean and crisp to rich and spicey.

About: Founded over a century ago, Viña La Rosa is located in one of Chile’s most exciting wine regions in the Cachapoal Valley: Peumo. Today, the traditions of its founders inspire a sustainable approach to viticulture and continue to inform a terroir-based mindset where respect for the environment is paramount.

50% fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months, the remaining 50% is fermented in stainless steel tanks and is aged for six months in contact with the lees.

Tasting note: Intense and elegant with notes of orange peel, jasmine, peaches and pineapples. The palate is rich yet balanced with hints of smoked hazelnuts and vanilla.
