Grapes: Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha Tinta

Grape info: A blend of 85% Tempranillo, 12 % Graciano and 3% Garnacha. Tempranillo produces markedly tannic wines with notes of leather, tobacco, spice and sometimes strawberries. Graciano retains its acidity exceptionally well, adding freshness and aromatics while Garnacha adds body, colour and alcohol.

Winemaker Javier Rodríguez employs an ethos of sustainable agriculture, increasingly within the framework of biodynamic and organic viticulture to create distinctive wines, rooted in tradition, with a modern twist.

Fermented in oak using native yeasts. Aged for 21 months in oak with a further 18 months in bottle before release.

Tasting note: Lacrimus Reserva's cherry, cedar and balsamic notes meld euphoniously with Christmas lamb roast and rosemary.
