Grape info: Harvested from two plots around Limoux, selected for their distinct but complimentary styles, the Horizon balances the taught precision of cooler, coastal vineyards with the natural richness from warmer, inland terroirs.
About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.
Tasting note: A nose of blackberry and blackcurrant with sour cherry and raspberry notes. On the palate, cherry and pepper mingle with cedar and hints of eucalyptus. Fine tannins and a long finish.
