Grape info: A native of the northern Rhône valley where, until relatively recently, it was more-or-less confined, Syrah produces full bodied wines with complex notes of leather, liquorice, and black pepper supported by soft, structural tannins, a weighty mid palate and age-worthy potential.

About: Riebeek Cellars are a community of families located in the Riebeek Valley, pooling their resources in order to access the best quality land, fruit and winemaking technology. Tasting note: A concentrated nose of blueberry and blackberry with hints of leather and black pepper. A meaty, savoury palate showing plenty of black fruits with and dried herbs supported by supple, well-integrated tannins.
