An homage to one of Pietro Sartori's sisters, Zaffira "Fira" Sartori. Fira lived between the 19th and 20th centuries and, contrary to the customs of that time, decided to be independent and work by herself, helping at the same time the founder Pietro Sartori to pursue his dream in the winery. To this strong woman the company decided to dedicate a line of three wines, in order to emphasise the importance of the female figure. This trio is inspired by the simplicity, elegance and fortitude she was said to personify, offering a modern and approachable take on some classic Veneto wines.

Made chiefly from Corvina - a grape that makes up a good proportion of most Valpolicella and Amarone wines - the Rosso is blended with international varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to produce a youthful and fleshy alternative to some of the region's famous DOs. Corvina's naturally high acidity, light body and tart fruitiness makes it best suited to blends, in this case adding some vigour to Merlot's softness and Cabernet's structure. The grapes are dried prior to fermentation to help concentrate their flavours leading to a fruit-forward style with notes of tart cherries, floral hints of roses and a touch of spice. Fira Rosso is charmingly uncomplicated, emphasizing simplicity and grace over power.

The Bianco again takes a classic grape of the region (Garganega), famous for its role in Soave and pairs it with another two international varieties: Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Its natural acidity and stone-fruit character are given an extra aromatic lift from the Sauvignon and some added weight from the Chardonnay. Fresh, floral and herbal, it continues the trio's theme of versatile and affable wines, ideal for a multitude of occasions.

The Rosa is made entirely from Corvina which given its fresh acidity and tart fruitiness is well suited to making invigorating, youthful rosé. A short skin maceration delivers the en-vogue salmon pink colour and retains the gentle floral aromatics with energetic notes of nectarine, orange blossom and lemongrass.
