Grape info: From the higher slopes to the west of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, where altitude and exposure produce a youthful, fresh style of Pinot Noir characterised by a lively fruitiness. Skilfully blended from a number of sites to achieve a balanced and well-rounded wine.
About: Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot’s vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d’Or.
A proportion (10-30%) is aged in new oak with the remainder in stainless steel tanks for a total of 8-12 months.
